PBS are registered plumbers and can offer residential plumbing solutions, from minor repairs to major renovations or new builds. They also offer commercial plumbing services and have worked with many of Southland’s construction companies on well-recognised buildings. PBS are IQP backflow certifiers who test over 200 valves annually throughout the greater Southland region.

PBS are members of the Master Plumbers Association and their work is covered by the Master Plumbers Guarantee. The PBS team have worked on many large commercial construction and maintenance projects, ranging from hospitals (both SDHB and Southern Cross), Civic Theatre, Invercargill Court House, industrial meat processing plants, retirement homes, supermarkets, and schools. PBS completed the Invercargill Prison upgrade within strict safety and security parameters. PBS also work with Enable New Zealand, building and installing accessible bathrooms and facilities to set requirements and can undertake alterations for accessible facilities.
PBS work with major building companies across Invercargill and Southland, and multitudes of smaller, independent building companies. They are familiar with a wide range of health and safety requirements and depending on the contract, can also work with you throughout the consent process and provide compliance and a code of completion.

PBS offers IQP Backflow Certification
As part of our team, PBS have IQP qualified backflow prevention testers, who currently test over 200 valves annually throughout the greater Southland region. The testing is completed in groups to minimise clients’ mileage costs. If you would like to be added to their database, contact PBS.
Where testable valves are installed, it is a council requirement to have these devices tested annually by a qualified IQP tester as part of the Building Warrant Of Fitness certification. Their PBS IQP backflow prevention technician will test, make repairs if required and can provide advice or specifications to ensure your safety. Certification is then submitted to the relevant authority. Your details held on their database will ensure that your testing is done on time and as economically as possible, by region.
